When you think of Papua New Guinea, images of jungles, mountains, villages, exotic art and remote beaches come to mind. The last thing you'd think of is coming over to relax. Well, things are changing for Port Moresby. We already have a few spas in town such as Jiiam at Airways, Spa Pua at Harbour City and Nu-Image at Vision City. Competition has been fierce between the three with each establishment bringing in trained massueses from South East Asia. Well, Spa Pua has just opened its latest branch today in Gordons and I can't wait to try it out!
Here are some pictures of the new Spa Pua.

As you can expect of course, the food served was light as they want guests to walk around and see what they have set up so you can't expect to eat a proper meal at openings like this. So off I went to a friend's house to have dinner. He served me a very flavourful chicken rice that when mixed with the home made chilli paste makes for a very deliciously spicy meal! It was excellent and went straight down my throat and into my eager belly! There was also some Bika Ambon which is an Indonesian cake made from eggs, sugar and coconut milk. I didn't have any though as my overate with the Chicken rice. I had some last time though and they are very nice to have along with some coffee.
